Jean-Marc Fortier, Team Leader
President and owner of GGL, has more than 31 years experience in the survey and mapping industry. He is a hands-on leader with extensive experience in customer relations and team management and has overall responsibility for quality control and management of all mapping projects. Jean-Marc is extremely proficient in flight preparation, control surveys, aerial triangulation, stereo compilation, digital orthophoto, as well as design and development of specifications and procedures
Holly Fortier, Cartographic Specialist, Administrative Services
Holly has over 20 years experience in the cartographic field and is a key member of the GGL team. Holly's cartographic expertise, provides a solid grounding for work responsibility in project preparation, quality assurance, inventory and shipping and receiving. Holly is skilled in a variety of systems, which include MicroStation, Maps3D, and ArcView. Holly keeps GGL on-track by accurately and timely management of accounting and communication systems.
Roy Kregosky, Air Photo Interpreter Specialist, Technical Supervisor
Roy is responsible for delegating project assignments, and the supervising and scheduling of projects. He is also responsible for the technical coordination and liaison support of each project. Roy has more than 29 years in the mapping and resource industry. He has a diploma from VRI Air Photo Interpretation, B.C. and graduated from University of Calgary with a Bachelors degree in GEOLOGY.
Blair Bolton, Photogrammetric Specialist
Blair has a history extending more than 20 years in mapping. He has a diploma from BCIT's survey (photogrammetry option) program. His expertise lies in utilizing a variety of instruments, including DiAP, DVP Softcopy Photogrammetric Workstations. He is proficient in coastal base mapping, Digital Elevation Model, and forestry mapping. Blair has successfully completed numerous compilation projects for provincial and commercial clients.
Robin Pack, Cartographic Specialist
Robin has a diploma from BCIT's forest resource program. He has more than 35 years experience in cartographic mapping. Robin is extremely competent in digital mapping and data manipulation; he is skilled in a variety of systems, which include MicroStation, Maps3D, FME, and ArcInfo.
Gary Purpur, GIS Analyst, Photogrammetric Specialist
Gary's expertise lies in GIS and Photogrammetry, with over 25 years working in geospatial data management/compilation/editing, geodatabase design, planning, training and implementation. He is proficient in ArcGIS, working with softcopy photogrammetric workstations as well as orthophoto production. Strong communication and problem solving skills combined with an in-depth knowledge of data management has resulted in successful project achievement and results. He has a diploma from Southern Alberta's Institute of Technologies Surveying Program (Photogrammetry option) and graduated from the University of Winnipeg with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Geography
