Planimetric Mapping
Our experienced photogrammetric technicians, employ state state of the art equipment and software compile planimetric features, which are predefined by our clients needs. These planimetric features are extracted from different sources (mostly aerial photography) and coded according to their specific attribute. We provide accurate and complete digital planimetric data, which is topologically correct. |

Topographic Mapping
The topographic mapping is used to represent the surface of the terrain. It can be produced by contour compilation at specific elevations, but more precisely today by Digital Elevation Models (DEM) and Digital Terrain Models (DTM). From the DEM data, we can produce volume calculation, slope analysis, contours and digital orthophotos. Global Geomatics Ltd. expertise in softcopy data collection can meet all our clients' requirements. |

Forest Interpretation Mapping
Using softcopy workstations for polygon delineation and classification, the mapping is more effective than conventional air photo interpretation. Field data from ground and/or air plots are used to verify the classification interpretation. Global Geomatics Ltd. Certified Air Photo Interpreters are familiar in all aspects of vegetation inventory. |

Engineering Mapping
Global Geomatics Ltd. engineering mapping is produced with very high accuracy to our clients' requirements. (This is typically to a sub-metre precision and frequently within a decimeter.) |

Ecosystem Mapping
Ecosystem mapping has been practiced in B.C. for over a decade, using either a Terrestrial Ecosystem Mapping (TEM) approach or in recent years through the process of Predictive Ecosystem Mapping (PEM). |

Utility / Cadastral Mapping
Utilities and land parcel information is the basic elements that local governments require to build a geographic and information system. Global Geomatics Ltd. can collect that information using digital orthophotos, registered plans, as build drawings and integrating them to a community geo-spatial reference system |
